]]> Col Engr ABM Mizanur Rahman, OSP, PBGM, P Eng (Retd) was commissioned in the Corps of Engineers, Bangladesh Army on 27 July 1986. He commanded two BGB Sectors and one Engineer Battalion. He served as Garrison Engineer (Army) and Commander MES Dhaka for quite a long time. He served with Water Development Board, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labour and Ministry of Industry where he successfully implemented a number of critical and special Projects. He also served as MD of BGB Welfare Trust where he had a bank under the ownership of the Trust.

Col Mizan passed B Sc in Civil Engineering from RUET and studied M Sc Engineering in CUET. He had his MBA from Southeast University. He earned a Diploma in Arabic Language from Dhaka University. He was trained on operation and maintenance of Engineering Equipment and Hydraulic Crane in Saudi Arabia and Belgium respectably. He is registered as a Professional Engineer in IEB.

He acquired a vast experience on designing, planning, management and execution of mega structures like 500 Bedded Hospitals, Five-star Hotels, Cement Mills, LPG Plant, Commercial Buildings and many other special projects.
As a recognition of his outstanding performance and incredible contribution to the Nation, he was awarded with “অসামান্য সেবা পদক” and “রাষ্ট্রপতি বর্ডার গার্ড পদক”.
